Ingatestone & Fryerning Community Association CIO ("We", "our", "us", "IFCA") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

 

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

 

Information we collect from you

The IFCA is not a marketing organisation. We will collect and process the following data about you in only two circumstances:

  1. You are, or have been, a member of the IFCA

  2. You make a booking to use our facilities and/or have a car park permit

We do not sell or pass on to Third Parties any of your data for marketing purposes.

 

Information that you give us.

This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you become a member, hire the facilities, attend an event or buy a car park permit.

The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone number.  We do not accept payment by credit card and therefore we hold no financial information about you except, where applicable, damage deposit cheques which are returned or shredded after the event.

 

Uses made of the information

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  1. to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information and services that you request from us;

  2. to provide you with information about other services and events we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;

  3. to notify you about changes to our service;

 

Disclosure of your information

We do not sell or pass on to Third Parties any of your data unless

  • we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or

  • in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IFCA, our customers, or others.

 

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for our marketing purposes.

Access to information

You have the right to access information held about you. Please contact us on the email below using the subject header ‘subject access request’.

Changes to our privacy policy

Any changes we make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
